My family likes peas, frozen rather than canned, but have become pretty bored with just "nuking" them and adding butter, salt & pepper. Does anyone have any simple ideas for dressing them up a bit? Thanks!
Did you use the same amounts of sugar and of berries (or juice) from the frozen fruit as you would have from fresh? The Ball powdered pectin recipes call for different amounts. The recipes are for blueberry, sweet cherry, peach, and strawberry jam.
Ill vouch for this one! Also adding some cream to the cooked onions/ham (or pancetta) before adding thawed frozen peas. It was a wonderful dish this past Thanksgiving. Ohhh... Ive never added ham or pancetta in this dish. I do something similar as posted above but Ive never thought to add the cashews either. Ive got to give that one a try.
I have never before had any problems with fermented frozen fruit juice until this year at Costco, these three instances with Dole frozen concentrate.
I was just wondering if anyone else has purchased Dole frozen fruit concentrate from Costco. An hour ago as my family and I sat down to eat dinner we were dismayed to find we were drinking rotten fruit juice.
